School Supply Box ProgramThis program offers both parents and educators an easier alternative to fall school supply shopping! Hunt School Supply Box packages contain items listed for each grade level (excluding backpacks and recorders) and has these supplies waiting for your child on the first day of school. Our goal is to offer parents a stress-free supply shopping experience whether you have one child or five. No crowded parking lots, no shoving down store aisles trying to choose the "right" notebook or waiting in long lines!Each box will have your child's name and grade printed on it and will contain grade level supplies as requested by our teachers and labels for his/her individual tools and supplies. You may also choose to be a "Special Angel" and purchase a box or two to help students who may otherwise not have the supplies they need to start school. The requirements for this program lasts for a very short time in the spring with sending out flyers and taking orders. Then prior to school starting, volunteers are needed to distribute the supply boxes to the appropriate classrooms. If you are looking for a way to volunteer at Hunt without being too tied down, this is a program to consider. Five or six volunteers would be terrific! |
