Hello everyone!

First of all, I want to say congratulations to our Golden Acorn and Outstanding Educator award winners!  Congratulations to Kerry Washburn for being our 2007-2008 Golden Acorn Award winner - her dedication and integrity that she brings to everything she does makes all of us work just that much harder and it has been a true pleasure working with her this year.  Congratulations as well to Mr. Pecchia, one of our Outstanding Educators for the school year - you are truly going to be missed as you head out on your new career pursuit.  We have thoroughly enjoyed working with you at Hunt this year as PTA members, and as parents, we just want to thank you for making Hunt such an amazing place for our students to learn and grow.  Finally, congratulations to Don Marcus, our custodian here at Hunt!  Not only do you keep our school clean and safe for our kids, but we just want to thank you for always going that extra mile and being such a positive role model for all of our kids.  We are so fortunate to have such an awesome school!!

Coming up for May, we have May 17 for our Family Night at the Tacoma Rainiers (Rhubarb will be there - and a big thanks to Rhubarb for joining us at our BINGO night in April!), and then on May 20, is our final Skate Night for the year - come dressed in your finest Hawaiian attire and get ready for a really fun time!!   And remember - Field Day is May 30 along with our BBQ lunch during the day - think sun!  For our other PTA events going on, just check out the calendar on the left side of the page.
