Book FairThank you parents, family, students and staff for your support during our recent Book Fair.Your support provided $3,200 dollars of Scholastic Books for our Kindergarten classrooms, Music classroom, 1st Grade Mini Library and the school library. (The school receives 60% profit from the proceeds of each Book Fair.) Each year the Book Fair provides new books to individual classrooms within a particular grade level. Each of the individual classrooms will receive approximately $30 dollars in books. This Book Fair provided $200 dollars of books to the individual classrooms listed above. The school library receives the remaining portion of book profit from the fair. Our recent fair provided the school library with $3,000 dollars of Scholastic books. The school library receives the highest percentage of books because the books benefit a larger number of students. |
