About the PTA and Meeting Times

When: 2nd Tuesday of every month

Where: Hunt Elementary School Library

General Membership Meetings: 6:30pm (for 2010-2011 school year: Sept/Nov/Jan/March/May) unless otherwise announced

Board of Director Meetings: 3:45pm (for 2010-2011 school year: Oct/Dec/Feb/April/June) unless otherwise announced

Why: The PTA President compilies a list of Agenda items for each meeting. Agenda items can be submitted by emailing the PTA President (or other Executive Board member) or by filling out an "Agenda Request Form" and putting it in the PTA President folder in the front office.

The purpose of the PTA!

Promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship.

To raise the standards of home life.

To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.

To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.

To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.
