Greetings Hunt Highlanders!

February was a busy month of paperwork. At the end of all the paperwork I was reminded of how privileged I am to be working with such a wonderful group. I was very proud to put Hunt PTA's name in for several of the WA State PTA awards and for the Puyallup PTA Council Incentive Contest. Award recipients will be announced at the upcoming WA State PTA Convention at the end of April. If Hunt PTA should win the Puyallup PTA Council Incentive Contest we will be reimbursed for one full Convention Registration Fee. Wow!

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to our success so far. Without any of you none of the things we accomplish are possible.

I ask that you continue to support Hunt PTA's success by attending the next PTA meeting on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 6pm in the library . At this General Membership meeting we will be voting on the PTA executive board for 2010-2011 and discussing various PTA activities coming up. This month is also the month that we introduce Hunt PTA to a new group of incoming kindergarten parents. We'd love to have your input on what we as a PTA should do to welcome in a new class of kindergarten students during the March 23rd registration night.

This month is a time of recognition for a few special people at Hunt. The Golden Acorn Award(s) and Outstanding Educator Award(s) have been chosen. Do you know who has been chosen? To find out join us for Bingo Night, Friday, March 12, 2010. These award recipients will be honored on this night.
